Beauty doesn't begin when a product touches your skin. It begins when something catches your eye, when you pick it up and when you decide you want it in your life. That is what design-led beauty means to us.
Design is part of the experience
Colour, form, materials and tactility influence how a beauty object fits into a person's day. A hand cream might sit on a desk, appear in a handbag or become a thoughtful gift. Packaging can make a utilitarian product feel personal without replacing the need for a good formula.
Why start with hand cream?
Hand cream is familiar, useful and often overlooked creatively. We wanted to make an everyday essential feel like an object worth choosing deliberately rather than an afterthought.
The role of fragrance and texture
A cream's scent and finish are immediate experiences. They help determine whether you'll enjoy applying it and want to use it again. For BOTARI, these aren't extras added at the end; they're part of how we think about the product from the beginning.
Korean formulation as the quality foundation
We work with Korean formulation expertise because product quality matters as much as appearance. Our aim is not to replace efficacy with aesthetics. It's to bring them together: an object you're drawn to, a satisfying sensory experience and a formula worthy of repeated use.
Meet BOTARI
The debut hand-care range includes three distinct formulas: Cica Protect, Noni Renew and Charcoal Reset. Each offers a different perspective on daily care, expressed through considered colours, packaging and product experience.
FAQs
Does design-led mean packaging matters more than performance?
No. Design attracts attention, but the formula has to deliver a worthwhile experience if customers are to return.
Is BOTARI a fragrance brand?
BOTARI is a beauty design house launching with Korean hand care. Fragrance is an important part of the sensorial experience, alongside texture and design.
